The world's only museum of Russian national drinks. The creator of the museum keeps 22 traditional recipes: from uzvar and sbiten to nalewka, liqueur, and bread wine. While walking from the samovar hall to the distillery, you will learn the history of drinks and see utensils and appliances needed to make them. And, of course, you will be able to try those drinks.


At a tasting at 49 Horses Bar you can quench your thirst with homemade kvass and try all kinds of nalewka and liqueurs for each letter of the alphabet. You can also get acquainted with melomel, a unique beverage made according to the recipe of the ninth century.


The center is located in the building of the palace stud farm, which is an architectural monument of the eighteenth century. The famous Vladimir heavy draft was bred there. The exposition Home of the Vladimir Heavy Draft is dedicated to the history of Gavrilov Posad stables, which are known since the days of Ivan the Terrible.
