PILOT TV SERIES FESTIVAL
At Pilot Festival you can watch pilot episodes of new Russian TV series. It is where film directors and producers network. Both the audience and the jury select the winners.

The festival is held in September which is a nice time to watch some new Russian films and visit remarkable towns in the Ivanovo Region like Plyos, Palekh, Shuya and Kineshma.

THE FIRST FACTORY OF AVANT-GARDE MODERN ART FESTIVAL
Основная идея фестиваля: осмыслить эксперименты в разных областях современного искусства и сделать это через призму традиций авангардного искусства 1920-1930-х годов.

ZERKALO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
Tarkovsky Fest is one of the major film festivals in Russia. It is a week of the best films all around the world shown in 10 cities in the Ivanovo Region. The opening ceremony takes place in Yuryevets where Andrei Tarkovsky spent his childhood. At the festival you can listen to russian rock music, watch films in outdoor cinema, try local food and visit places connected with Tarkovsky.

INTERNATIONAL CHAMBER THEATRE FESTIVAL
Ostrovsky Fest is named after a playwrighter and a classic of Russian literature Alexander Ostrovsky. It is a celebration of modern theatre with an intense educational and entertainment programme. Also, you can walk old streets of merchant Kineshma and feel the atmosphere of Russian literature of the XIXth century.

RUSSIAN TRADITIONAL CULTURE FESTIVAL IN THE HOMELAND OF VLADIMIR HEAVY DRAFT
Gavrilov Posad is one of the remarkable old towns in Ivanovo Region. Vladimir Heavy Draft was bred there. It is a unique breed, the Vladimir horses are high and heavy. In Gavrilov Posad there is a stud farm which history goes back to the times of Ivan the Terrible reigning. The current building was constructed in 1787 and is one of the most remarkable places of the Ivanovo Region. Every August a massive Russian Traditional Culture Festival is held in Gavrilov Posad.

LUK-LUCHOK REGIONAL FOOD FESTIVAL
The food festival in an old Russian village Lukh has grown from a local market to a major celebration that attracts thousands of visitors from different parts of Russia. The festival is about unique traditions of onion cultivation. Local people have been maintaining them since Ivan the Terrible reigning. In 2015 the festival got famous across the country thanks to "Luk-Luchok" song performed at Vecherniy Urgant late-night talk show.
